- Gross weight refers to trailer and contents.
- Tandem required. Tilt cab not recommended.
- C.A. refers to distance from last above-frame obstruction (i.e. transmission mount) behind tractor
cab to center of tandem axles.
- Litting height refers to distance from down height to maximum raised height.
- Down height refers to distance from top of tractor frame to top of 5th wheel plate when unit
is in down position.
Hydraulic Stabilizers.
Required to stabilize tractor-trailer during dumping operation.
Require 28" area ahead of front tandem wheel (10" ahead
of front tandem tire, plus 18" area ahead must be free of any
below-frame component such as air tank, battery box, brake system,
etc.). Stabilizer housing is welded to reinforcing truss under tractor
frame.
Controls. Operated from within cab after hook-up. Hydraulic controls
for 5th wheel and stabilizers located in cab on passenger side. This requires removal of passenger seat.
King Pin Release. Pneumatic with cab control valve and safety lock,
standard.
Hydraulic Cylinders.
Main cylinders: Three-stage single acting telescopic. Slide cylinders,
double-acting.
Fluid Type. Anti-wear hydraulic oil with pour-point rated according
to operating temperatures and conditions. Not included with unit.
Pump. Balanced vane
pump. Output at l200rpm: 22gpm at 100psi.
P.T.O. Ratio. Recommended 90-110%.
Complete Units. Units
shipped complete except for hydraulic fluid and flat stock steel
for installation. (Fluid and flat stock are supplied by local distributor).
Pick-Up Ramps. To meet varying tractor requirements, ramps are to
be fabricated and fitted by installer. Instructions included with unit.
Installation. Units are installed at the factory, or by an authorized
and qualified distributor. Tilt cab tractors not recommended.
